Fuel Saver Oil Change

What is it? – The Fuel Saver Oil Change includes all the features and services that Kwik Kar’s Full Service Oil Change includes plus a bottle of Wynn’s Power Charge Fuel Treatment.

What does it do? – The addition of the Wynn’s Power Charge to your gas tank will give better fuel economy, improved horsepower and drivability by providing a cleaner fuel system.  Deposits on fuel injectors, intake valves and in the combustion chambers will be removed.  The results are better fuel mileage (we have had customers improve their fuel mileage by up to 4 miles per gallon), reduced emissions and more horsepower.

Will it work in a Diesel? – Yes.  Wynn’s Power Charge is formulated to be effective in diesels and gasoline-powered vehicles.

A word about Ethanol – In the Dallas/Ft Worth area the EPA requires that up to 10% Ethanol be mixed with all gasoline.  This is to reduce harmful emissions.  A by-product of the 10% Ethanol is reduced gas mileage and increased carbon buildup.  A gallon of Ethanol has approximately 2/3 the energy of a gallon of gasoline, so to do the same work you have to burn more 1/3 more Ethanol that gasoline – thus reduced fuel mileage.  Because of this and the carbon deposit buildup the fuel systems in your vehicle need to be maintained for optimum performance.

Does this service eliminate the need for a Fuel System cleaning service? – No, because the full Fuel System Cleaning service will also take care of throttle body deposits left by the Exhaust Gas Re-circulation (EGR) system, these deposits have to be cleaned by hand.

How often should this service be done? – Every oil change or at least every other oil change.

What does it cost? – The Fuel Saver Oil Change is the same price as our regular Full Service Oil Change plus a discounted ($3 off) price for the Power Charge.
